Wesley the Barn Owl

So you think you don’t want to know anything about owls and you are too cool to like animal stories. But this one’s different!

Wesley is a barn owl – yes, he really is. But this owl has to live with a human, wherever she lives, and not in a barn or in the wild. What the two of them going through adjusting to and caring for each other is amazing. And if you think having a mouse-eating barn owl living in your rooms will help attract guys, you’re wrong.

It’s also an amazing story about Stacey who is a real biologist – her life, her loves and her long relationships with Wesley. If you don’t know much about the lives of scientists then you will find this fascinating – like the one who was experimenting with all sorts of parasites – and letting them live on him!!

I zipped through this book – fascinated by absolutely everything it told me. Highly recommended to anyone.
