The book is so good – not just for librarians but people who love cats and know just how much they can be helpful for people. Dewey lived for 17 years in this library and people from all around the world came to visit him. True story!!

Wesley the Barn Owl

So you think you don’t want to know anything about owls and you are too cool to like animal stories. But this one’s different!

Wesley is a barn owl – yes, he really is. But this owl has to live with a human, wherever she lives, and not in a barn or in the wild. What the two of them going through adjusting to and caring for each other is amazing. And if you think having a mouse-eating barn owl living in your rooms will help attract guys, you’re wrong.

It’s also an amazing story about Stacey who is a real biologist – her life, her loves and her long relationships with Wesley. If you don’t know much about the lives of scientists then you will find this fascinating – like the one who was experimenting with all sorts of parasites – and letting them live on him!!

I zipped through this book – fascinated by absolutely everything it told me. Highly recommended to anyone.
